Amazing castle in Amsterdam! On a road trip and stayed here for a night. The room was unique and not like any other. The art all around was amazing. The great hall reminded me of Hogwarts. Staff was super nice and very accommodating. Also recommend the Southside Slice right across the street!

Did you know Amsterdam Castle is located right on the outskirts of Adirondack Park? And that Adirondack Park is larger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Glacier and Olympic parks combined? Last weekend I had the pleasure of staying at this charming and memorable hotel located right on the outskirts of Adirondack State Park. The experience was superb, with an exceptionally clean room, friendly staff and an absolutely picturesque building. I highly recommend Amsterdam Castle for anyone looking for a clean and friendly hotel.

Cozy little place and really enjoyed the room at first but recieved some nasty bug bites the first night. Wasn't bad initially once I woke up but over some hours into the day, the swelling grew bigger and so did the pain. Due to the severe reaction and just the unfortunate event of getting these bites, won't be coming back.

Would highly recommend the castle. There's nothing more we could have asked for. The whole place was absolutely gorgeous, the room was amazing, and the staff was great. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Make sure to explore downtown, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent experience.|We stayed for 2 nights. Very clean, outstanding service, amazing place, extremely quiet.|I’m more than bored with hotel chains with no character, no savor, no color. My best experience ever in a hotel in the USA.|Let us hope that the state of New York will keep the fabulous team running this place.

Would stay here again. Very unique. Bed was comfortable and. room very clean. For light sleepers, the recessed dormer window could not be made dark. Hot water in room only made it to very warm, not sure why. Lastly, I did take great exception to the Made in China shampoo and conditioner in a historical building. Needless to say, I didn't use it.
